- Do not go into a pool alone — make sure an adult is present.
- If you don’t know how to swim, do not enter the pool without your life vest or water wings. Make sure an adult is with you at all times.
- Do not unlock or go around a locked gate to get into a pool. Wait for an adult to let you in and supervise.
- Do not play near or around any pool drains. If you see a broken drain, tell an adult immediately.
- Make sure there is a phone nearby in case of emergency.
